Deacons Captain, Tony Purpur retires after 22 successful seasons. His record holds 244 total points- 73 goals, 171 assists in 258 games, and retires as the teams 4th leading scorer in franchise history. The Deacons would like to extend a thank you to Tony for his leadership and dedication!
2nd year forward Brian Konowalchuk from Denver University will Captain the young squad, while 1st year forward Luke Karakas from St. Norbert College and Janne Rukamp from Iowa State University will be the Assistant or Alternate Captains. (Karakas won the DIII National Championship with St. Norbert in 2018)
